Hello All, Is anyone trying to buy tickets from the UK?
I've filled the form out on the following website
http://www.ganban.net/frf10-english1.html
but haven't had any payment request yet. It's been about 48 hours.
I've also sent an email to english@ganban.net but had no reply yet.
Anyone in the same position? IS there a way of ordering e-tickets via any of the japanese websites?
Thanks to anyone who can help

hey there,
I'm from the uk, and really want to attend fuji rock 2010. However, I have 2 japanese style half-sleeve tattoos, which look very similar in style to people in the yakuza.
Is this kind of a thing a problem? as i've never been to japan before.
thanks

Plenty of young tattooed Japanese guys at Fuji Rock. You have nothing to worry about.

Tattoos are no problem at all. The crowd at FRF is very welcoming to all. Come and enjoy the festival if you can!

How do we order food lol! do the food stalls have english signs? english speakers? or do we just point and hope for the best! ha
[153] Owen (2009/07/20 Mon 06:30)
A combination of all three! Nany of the stalls will have English signs, a lot will have English speakers, or at least staff that speak enough to take your order. Failing all that, yes, point!

If you have supported Bush, there's no food for you in our land. Just take rain water. Then you have to do ten years volunteers in Iraq to recover their land.

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows if there will be available power points for charging phones/camera batteries? We have the right adapter for japanese power points, but just curious if there will be stores where we can just plug in for free? Cheers!
[167] Courtney (2009/07/23 Thu 01:20) mail
There are several spots where they charge your phone. I believe there is one in Oasis area and another one in one of the shops around shop area outside where wrist band place is located. Not sure they offer free though...
Charging camera? not sure about that.
Good luck and have fun!!!

Please tell me, is it possible to use the shuttle bus if I plan to buy a ticket on-site?
I plan to take shinkansen at 8 or 9 am from Tokyo to Echigo Yuzawa, take the shuttle bus, buy a day ticket and leave by the last shinkansen at 22:30 or by the first one in the morning, at 6. I really hope there will be a ticket availiable))
[156] Gintaras (2009/07/21 Tue 05:37) mail
Basically you need a ticket to use the shuttle bus. This is what they say at the website. I remember they checked a ticket at Echigo Yuzawa station 5 years ago when i took the shuttle bus. I'm not sure if they do the same way this year but if you worry, you could get a ticket in advance at GANBAN official store in Shibuya PALCO part3 B1F or HMV Shibuya.
[160] kay (2009/07/21 Tue 23:37) mail
I don't remember them checking for tickets last year.

hey all !! i;m going to festival on 26 and back on 27th ?
if i cant book shinkanshen , which train should i take ?
thxall
[166] Eunice (2009/07/23 Thu 00:37) mail
The route should be...
Ueno - (JR Takasaki line) - Takasaki
Takasaki - (JR Jyoetsu line) - Minakami
Minakami- (JR Jyoetsu line to Nagaoka) - Echigo Yuzawa
But it takes more than 4 hours!!!
I highly recommend you squeeze yourself into Jyoetsu Shinkansen even if you cannot reserve a seat!
Good luck and have fun!

[163] Matt (2009/07/22 Wed 12:59)
AU reception is Okay most of the areas but may be tough in deeper zones like Field of Heaven or Orange Court. But much better than Softbank overall...
Good luck and have great time!
